Title:ET Phone Home: Using Kinvo to Communicate with Parents

Course Description: Ever send an email to a parent with no response? Wouldn't it be nice to have a more reliable way to contact parents? There is. It's called Kinvo! We access it through PowerSchool, and it sends a message directly to parents' phones. They are able to easily respond too! It is easy to use to send a single message, or a bulk one to the parents of a whole class!

What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized: Kinvo, formerly known as Unified Operations Communication

Instructional Strategy: Active Learning!

What You’ll Experience:
We will go over the basics of Kinvo, how to set up templates for easy re-using of messages, and other tips-and-tricks too. Hope to see you there!

What Challenge You Will Do:
Set up your very own Kinvo Templates to easily send messages to parents. (I have a few templates set up for tardies, missing assingments, and a few for misbehaviors too!)
