Title:  Transformational Learning through Student Self-Assessment, we can "Make it So!"!
Course Description:  When students have a fast and easy platform to guide and direct their self-assessment of their own learning, their personal effort, the timing of their learning and how they learn, the effect size is 2%!!!  It effects their future learning and how you instruct.
What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized: New Quizes in Canvas
Instructional Strategy:  Self-Reflection
What You’ll Experience:  Different options and templates for Self-Assessments for your students.  The different forms of Self-Assessments, on assignments, individual effort, concepts learned and how to see the data from their responses at a glance and templates to eliminate time grading. This exchange of information is just not transactional, but transformational!!
Direct Instruction: You will be shown several examples of student self-assessment options in New Quizes and how to create them for different situations.
What Challenge You Will Do:  Come up with multiple questions for a graduated points values for student to respond to.  This can be for a specific assignment, it can be for individual choices made in the effort towards the assignment or their engagement level fo the days lesson. Anything you would like them to reflect upon.
