Title: The Jetsons had Nothing on AI (Younger to mid-Elementary Focus)

Course Description: This session will explore possibilites of AI in younger classrooms.  We will talk about the basics and build a foundation of safe AI use.  There is a whole new world of possibilites in AI and we are going to jump right in and see where they can take us. We will explore a few programs and see what they each have to offer and how we can adapt their uses to our own and our students' needs and ability levels.

What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized: Various AI programs (Adobe, Canva, SchoolAI)

Instructional Strategy: First we will explore and see some of the possibilities for ourselves with some guidance and inspiration from our colleagues.  We will look at ideas of what other educators are doing with AI in their classrooms, and we will discuss and create ideas that we can implement ourselves.

What You’ll Experience: Participants will experience a whole new realm of possibilites as well as ideas and inspiration from their colleagues on how to turn these once far-fetched ideas into realities.

What Challenge You Will Do: Participants will come up with a game plan of sure-fire ways they can implement this technology into their classroom in different subject areas, hopefully leaving with a lesson idea/plan in place that they are ready to implement right away.
