Ergonomics for the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Ergonomics is an applied science that looks at human-environment relationships such as students and their technology. We know how to make changes to software to match learning needs, but we rarely consider the users' physical needs. In this session, Ed Greenhalgh, PT, and Travis Chamberlain, OT, will explore the human-environment relationships from the ergonomic perspective. They will identify common mismatches between students and the classroom environment and provide simple solutions to improve participation in the classroom.
